In 2000 I wrote a series of blogs on heroes of learning. I have been updating and revising these articles while retaining the spirit of the original. In November 2000 I wrote about Rabbi Shmuel Jablon. Now he is the executive director of Shappell's in Jerusalem. After some exchanges of e-mail and text messages I updated what I wrote about him.
