Thanks to everyone who's already responded to my message (copied below;
apologies, I am not currently able to respond in the thread). I have, I
believe, corrected errors that some of you have found in the Google form.

I would like to clarify one point. This list specifically is meant for
people at your institution, dear librarian, to find *you*, not for a wider
audience. We'll explain that on the web page where the information will be
displayed, though I certainly cannot guarantee that no one else will reach
out. If you would like to be included but would prefer not to publicize
your direct email so widely, please contact me directly, off list.

We are, simultaneously, getting ready to launch a pilot program that would
allow AJS members who are not at institutions that have their own Judaica
librarian to submit questions to an AJL reference service. Participation in
a rotation of librarians responding to those questions would be on a
volunteer basis. It's meant to be separate from this list. More
information about that pilot will be forthcoming in appropriate venues. If
you would like to express interest right now, please email me directly.

Thanks again for the great interest!

best wishes,
Rachel

Subject: List of reference librarians for AJS members!
To: <[email protected]>

Greetings,

Are you a librarian who can provide reference support to members and
affiliates of a university or other academic institution (faculty,
students, staff), and just wish all those members of your community knew
you were there and ready to help?

In my role as AJL-AJS liaison, I am currently compiling a list of reference
point people in Jewish Studies at academic institutions, to be
advertised in particular through an AJL insert distributed at the upcoming
AJS (Association for Jewish Studies) conference. The list will not be
included on the insert, but on a web page easily reached by conference
participants who receive the insert. (The insert is a beautiful bookmark,
thank you to everyone who helped with that!)

If you would like to be included on this list, please submit your contact
information on this form.

able to do that before Thanksgiving, that would be amazing. Thank you!

Best wishes,
Rachel
