I thought AJL members might be interested in this online workshop from Melton
International:

Judaica Roadshow: Your Jewish Library
Thursday, September 1, 6:00-7:00pmCT

Join Joellyn Zollman, Ph.D. for a curated conversation about our most treasured
Jewish books. Dr. Zollman will use an Antiques Roadshow-style approach to
explore how our own Jewish books and literature are resources for understanding
American Jewish history, identity, and our own personal tastes. Registrants for
this class will have an opportunity to share their own Jewish bookshelf or
favorite Jewish book and have their own treasures explained by Dr. Zollman.
Together, participants will consider how these books connect to Jewish history,
Jewish memory, and the creation of Jewish life in America. Dr. Joellyn Zollman
holds a Ph. D in Jewish history from Brandeis University. This class combines
two of her areas of specialization, American Jewish history and Jewish culture.
Dr. Zollman serves as a scholar-in-residence for Melton's U.S. based Jewish
Heritage tours, and she is an avid reader.

Cost: $18, sponsored by Melton International and the Jewish Book Council.

Note: They are still accepting submissions for Dr. Zollman to discuss in class.
If you register and would like your bookshelf to be considered for inclusion,
please email [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> with a
picture and description.
