As the end of the 30 day period of mourning approaches, I want to sincerely thank all of you who have sent your condolences and good feelings to me during this period. This long post - with multiple parts is a tribute to her. She passed away with no visible pain surrounded by her children and grandchildren. I <>was able to fulfill her request to “be her rabbi” and officiate at her funeral with the assistance of Cantor Robert Pflug. She was a strong willed, loving, emotional, protective and critical presence throughout all of my life. May her memory be for a blessing.
