Dear Safranim, My workplace is offering this free vendor demo about perpetual complimentary access to HeinOnline Social Justice Suite
Vendor Demo: HeinOnline Social Justice Suite November 9, 2:00PM-3:00PM (Zoom) Register: https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.lilrc.org/event-4955217__;!!KGKeukY!01CHz9PhJSKmX1haBIQk79pw8Ie12DrN0tBhYcXkuNjneRHdA8T13n7gF7OtR3oTG2heIQD8B68OlrQskiybupM$ In October 2016, HeinOnline unveiled *Slavery in America and the World: History, Culture & Law*, a unique database released free of charge on a global scale to help librarians guide their communities and create an environment for open and positive dialogue. Less than three years later, they announced another free database, *Gun Regulation and Legislation in America*, with the same vision. In 2020, they were proud to offer *Civil Rights and Social Justice*, another free research database dedicated to the fight for civil rights in America. In 2021, at a crucial moment in history, they released the *Open Society Justice Initiative*, as the fourth free database within their *Social Justice Suite*. In June 2022, in honor of Pride Month, they presented the *LGBTQ+ Rights* database to showcase the history of the gay rights movement, as well as the inequalities that still exist today. To honor their core value of corporate citizenship, Hein offers these five databases free of charge to its core American and international subscribers, and to the libraries of any other interested organizations or institutions. In this webinar Hein will give a demonstration of these materials and also discuss HeinOnline generally. They will leave time for questions at the end of the presentation. *Presenter:* Steve Roses is a graduate of Boston College Law School and Brandeis University. He has been with HeinOnline since 2009. Roses lives in Maplewood, NJ with his wife and two children and their two dogs and two rabbits. In his spare time he enjoys travel. -- Sally Stieglitz she/her Communications and Outreach Coordinator *Liaison to Academic, Hospital, and Special Libraries * Long Island Library Resources Council 631.675.1570 ext. 2005 [email protected] https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://www.lilrc.org__;!!KGKeukY!01CHz9PhJSKmX1haBIQk79pw8Ie12DrN0tBhYcXkuNjneRHdA8T13n7gF7OtR3oTG2heIQD8B68OlrQs-A1AY30$ [image: ORCID] https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://orcid.org/0000-0003-1552-9188__;!!KGKeukY!01CHz9PhJSKmX1haBIQk79pw8Ie12DrN0tBhYcXkuNjneRHdA8T13n7gF7OtR3oTG2heIQD8B68OlrQsmQEmUlk$ LILRC is a member of the Empire State Library Network (ESLN <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.esln.org/__;!!KGKeukY!01CHz9PhJSKmX1haBIQk79pw8Ie12DrN0tBhYcXkuNjneRHdA8T13n7gF7OtR3oTG2heIQD8B68OlrQs4xFbdMg$ >) Follow LILRC on Facebook <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.facebook.com/LILRCouncil/__;!!KGKeukY!01CHz9PhJSKmX1haBIQk79pw8Ie12DrN0tBhYcXkuNjneRHdA8T13n7gF7OtR3oTG2heIQD8B68OlrQsZJN2zo0$ > Twitter <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://twitter.com/lilrc__;!!KGKeukY!01CHz9PhJSKmX1haBIQk79pw8Ie12DrN0tBhYcXkuNjneRHdA8T13n7gF7OtR3oTG2heIQD8B68OlrQsxp6pr54$ > Instagram <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.instagram.com/lilrcevents/__;!!KGKeukY!01CHz9PhJSKmX1haBIQk79pw8Ie12DrN0tBhYcXkuNjneRHdA8T13n7gF7OtR3oTG2heIQD8B68OlrQsCDradOs$ >
