We use Weine, which you know is based on Dewey, but in Dewey half the  books 
would have the number 296!  If you want to see our catalog, it’s : 
wise.library.site.
That’s the url. I know that in the past librarians have told me that they use 
our catalog as a source for their records.
     I think it’s a good idea to take a class in making a MARC (catalog) record.
Our-collection is about 22k items. I would add that I think familiarity with 
Judaica is actually more important than knowing cataloging. You can learn to 
catalog in short order.
