Hello, At the last RAS cataloging committee meeting, there was a discussion about the possibility of creating a Wikidata working group focused on Hebraica and Judaica.
The two main goals of the working group would be: - Creating Wikidata entities and adding references and other information to Wikidata within the scope of Hebraica and Judaica. - Creating a community of practice policy with a focus on any unique considerations that may affect our area of librarianship specifically. If you are interested, please let me know, (including if you mentioned interest at the cataloging committee meeting). You do not need to have experience working with Wikidata to participate. While I am excited about this initiative, I want to make sure that there are enough people who would like to participate before moving forward. Thank you, and let me know if you have any questions!
