Welcome to the Haskell Café!

Quite a few people have commented that the volume of mail on the Haskell
mailing list is becoming uncomfortably large. After some discussion earlier
this year, a new list, the Haskell Café <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, has been
created.

Here's the idea:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] Announcements, discussion openers,
                                        technical questions

[EMAIL PROTECTED] Extended discussions, homework questions

* People who want to stay in touch with what's happening in
the Haskell world, but who don't want to be swamped with mail,
  can subscribe to 'haskell' only.

* People who want the whole works can subscribe to both lists.

* No cross-postings, so even if you subscribe to both lists, you
should only get one copy of any message. (Hopefully, any messages
sent to both lists are bounced.)

* Discussions of any kind can start on 'haskell', but should transfer
to 'haskell-cafe' if they go beyond a few 'rounds'.

What to do:

        - If you want to stay in the Haskell Café, do nothing.
          You're already subscribed.

        - If you want to unsubscribe from the Haskell Café,
send mail to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, with the line
"unsubscribe <email-address>" in the body of the message
(where <email-address> is the address you subscribed to
          the Haskell mailing list with).
