You can checkout hmake/nhc98 from CVS
cvs -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs co nhc98
and give it a try. It compiles with hbc, ghc (HEAD) and of course itself,
so I guess ghc 6.2.1 will be no problem.
