Thank you very much Martin for the most interesting pointers!
Unfortunately I haven't any such pointers of mine (searching in Google didn't really reveal much); only the ones given by the people who kindly responded to my request in this thread. I'm an undergraduate student who just starts his thesis concerning functional programming, and I've been asked by the supervising professor to investigate Haskell's use in AI, a field in which - as the professor said - the commonly used functional language thus far was Lisp.
