I was just reminded of one of the joke definitions of recursion: "recursion: see recursion".
Perhaps there is a similar one for fixed points? "To learn about fixed points find the fixed point of the process: Given somebody learn about fixed points from them." Course, my understanding of fixed points is poor and my jokes always have poor delivery.
