I just successfully built 2009.2.0 on Mac OS X 10.5.6 (Intel Core Duo)
with GHC 6.10.2 and XCode 3.1.2 without problems. This was a clean
system; no previous versions of GHC, happy, or other utilities installed.
I added the configuration parameter {{{--prefix=/pkg/haskell-platform}}};
otherwise, the default settings were used.
(In retrospect, it couldn't be a problem with the {{{--prefix}}} argument
because that only applies during install.)
