Two dates stand out for me:
15th Dec: package freeze (will slip until the weekend, but that will
be the final .cabal file)
Jan early: announce of beta HP release.
Then we need a date for the final release:
Jan late. (last week)
Aim to have an installer read by Jan 10, based on the .cabal file from
this weekend (holidays coming up for others on the release team too)
