Originally (Ubuntu 10.10),
HP 2011.2 configured on Ubuntu 10.10 w/ (required) ghc 7.02, with
messages:

ghc 7.02 was required previously. Attempts to reinstall various
possibilities required ghc 6.12.3. Then reinstalling cabal resulted in
version 1.10.1.0, but now "make" for HP 2011.2 resulted in "Building
"/usr/local/bin/ghc" "--make" "Setup" "-o" "Setup" "-package"
"Cabal-1.8.0.6"
