Hello,
I just tried to install the 64-bit haskell platform for Mac OS X 10.6.8.
I got the platform from
http://lambda.galois.com/hp-tmp/2011.2.0.1/Haskell%20Platform%202011.2.0.1-x86_64.pkg
The installation proceeds almost to the end; the installer writes its
files, but then dies at the end saying:
"The installation failed.
The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to
fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance."

If it helps, I have already successfully installed an installation of
the 32-bit Haskell Platform installed; I'm trying to use the 64-bit
version. The installation error is repeatable (the installer tells me
that installation might succeed if I simply try again).
