The HP Mac OS X page claims that 2011.4.0.0 works for Mac OS X 10.6 or later, and Xcode 3.2 or later or 4 or later.
The existence of this recent post by Manuel implies that the claim is false: http://justtesting.org/using-the-glasgow-haskell-compiler-ghc-on-os If that is the case, someone should update the HP page (Mark?). And that would make it urgent to get out a new 7.4.*-based platform, or at least a point release that would make the platform usable on recent Macs. If that is not the case, someone should at least post a comment on Manuel's blog making that clear.
