Yay – Jason says we could be doing even better  with GLFW-b. T’would be nice to 
get this sorted.
 
It is a reminder of how important it is to have all of the packages stable and 
ready coming into the process.
 
That said if the Windows and Mac folks can work out what we need to put in the 
cabal file to get an auto-linking build (don’t you have to do this anyway) I am 
happy to spin 2.1.2.3.
 
I am being persistent here because this issue (GLUT not auto-linking) has burnt 
quite a lot of my time in the past. Isn’t the main idea of the platform to say 
these releases are good and work together in combination: go forth and multiply 
(your code) safe in the knowledge it all works.
 
Releasing a platform that trips people up – and it certainly seem to be 
tripping us up – goes against the grain.
 
That said I will totally understand if everyone just wants to push on (again!) 
with GLUT-2.1.2.1.
