Hmm.
I don' have "%HOME%/Application Data/Cabal", but I had
"%HOME%/AppData/Roaming/cabal" (which I had deleted) and
"%HOME%/AppData/Roaming/ghc" (which has "i386-mingw32-7.0.4", so obviously
I didn't delete anything there.)
Well, insufficiently clean slate seems likely in my case (and a slate that
seems hard to clean :-( ).
