OK. I'm convinced about the Mac installation situation. Unfortunately, I can't help with that because I have no software experience with the Mac. Windows looks more tractable. I will try to use Gtk2hs and (hopefully) wxhaskell on Windows and report my experiences. If I'm successful I will see what I can do to contribute to an add-on for Windows.
While I suspect that Macs are used more for Haskell than Windows, it would still be worthwhile to package up an add-on for Linux and Windows than to have nothing IMO. The availability of an add-on for other systems might encourage Mac developers to devote the effort to getting out all the kinks.
