Alphas fo Windows are now here: HaskellPlatform-2014.2.0.0-i386-setup.exe <http://www.ozonehouse.com/mark/platform/HaskellPlatform-2014.2.0.0-i386-setup.exe> HaskellPlatform-2014.2.0.0-x86_64-setup.exe <http://www.ozonehouse.com/mark/platform/HaskellPlatform-2014.2.0.0-x86_64-setup.exe>
Thanks to Randy Polen for these builds, and integrating the Windows build into the new-build for the platform. (See latest commits to the new-build branch). Notes from Randy: The HP for WIndows now includes the OpenGL Utility Toolkit (GLUT) from the FreeGLUT project, utilizing the pre-built distribution from http://www.transmissionzero.co.uk/software/freeglut-devel/ with the MinGW buld (freeglut-MinGW-2.8.1-1.mp.zip). Unfortunately, I am not able to test much on GLUT (particularly the newer stuff, which is part of the reason for upgrading to freeglut) as my graphics hardware only support OpenGL 3.3, whereas newer versions (e.g., 4.3) are needed. I have only done a couple of sanity tests for GLUT. I'll ask the GLUT maintainer if he can do more than I (not sure he is a Windows user, though, but I'll check). Known issue: doc links are still messed up, as we've mentioned before. Be getting to that this week! - Mark & Randy P.S.: shasums: SHA-256: 580cf615967956bb62f6dfaa1f9f0a099123f08f5f073dc5ecfe165143511022 HaskellPlatform-2014.2.0.0-i386-setup.exe SHA-256: 327124e58bf7a27ff8be4bb8367e04bd419fc9d94ebf6eca7c9a5d7409b833ec HaskellPlatform-2014.2.0.0-x86_64-setup.exe On Fri, Jul 11, 2014 at 8:04 AM, Mark Lentczner <mark.lentcz...@gmail.com> wrote: > The current head of new-build > <https://github.com/haskell/haskell-platform/commits/new-build> (commit > c04c17 > <https://github.com/haskell/haskell-platform/tree/c04c17ea40acf6e70a986e9c9302e58528e3b49d>) > is now "alpha"! > > You can find a source tarball, and a built Mac OS X installer here: > > haskell-platform-2014.2.0.0-a1.tar.gz > <http://www.ozonehouse.com/mark/platform/haskell-platform-2014.2.0.0-a1.tar.gz> > Haskell Platform 2014.2.0.0 64bit a1.signed.pkg > <http://www.ozonehouse.com/mark/platform/Haskell%20Platform%202014.2.0.0%2064bit%20a1.signed.pkg> > > > For linux you can build from the new-build branch directly (as travis-ci > is doing here <https://travis-ci.org/haskell/haskell-platform>), or (in > theory) build from the source tar ball. > > The Mac OS X installer should work on any system 10.7 or later (clang or > gcc!).
