Don't get me wrong: IMHO the availability of good libraries is
*extremely* important for any programming language. But the existence
of a handful implementations for for the same task without (documented)
distinctive features is likely to raise confusion. OK, I must admit
that I have re-released an old version of Erik's CGI lib myself... :-}
What about a grand unified EMACS HTML/XML library?
(Erik's, Malcolm's, Andy's, Colin's, and Sven's HTML/XML library)
Ooops, forgot Peter, but he would spoil the acronym... :-)
