Oh dear, silly me, I'm letting my enthusiasm get the better of me!
I'm glad you all can't see my red face. I'm afraid I'm one one of those
scatter brained techno nurds that never know the correct date anyway.
This time I paid the price!

I suppose I should have guessed this news was too good to be true.
It didn't sound like the Microsoft we've all come to know and love :-)

Still perhaps it will be true one day. In the mean time I'll just have to
struggle on with C++ and fantasise about Haskell. Have any of you Haskell
fans noticed that Clean is almost usable and available for MacOS & Win32?
I know UNIX is the OS of choice for academia but an awful lot of us
don't target our apps at it.
