As long as we're on the subject, does anyone know anything about a
bug which causes commas to be systematically replaced by Gammas
(i.e., uppercase) in some documents? I've seen this a few times and,
based on one such instance, I suspect that conversion between PDF
and PostScript might be the source of the problem, although I'm not
certain.
Relevance to FP and Haskell: this bug actually bit someone in print
in a recent ICFP proceedings (details suppressed to protect the
innocent (as in "innocent victims of bad software")).
