After the long thread about why perl is popular and haskell isn't, I burst out laughing when I saw this part of the announcement for the new release of GHC: > To compile up this source-only release, you need a machine with 32+MBmemory, > GNU C (`gcc'), `perl' plus a version of GHC installed (3.02 at least).
