I cannot build it on Mac OSX either. I think it has to do with GCC 4.x.
I managed to build wxHaskell on Mac OSX 10.4. Make sure to have the latest XCode, but also make sure you use gcc 3.3 instead of gcc 4.?. You can reset gcc by means of gcc_select.
