I'm pleased to announce the latest version of the IOSpec library.

The IOSpec library contains a pure specification of several functions in the IO monad. You can use these specifications to test, debug, and reason about impure code. You can find more information, examples, and documentation on the homepage:

Some new features include:

  * New specifications of STM;
  * Composable specifications;
  * Several new schedulers;
* Lots of new examples, including a QuickChecked distributed Sudoku solver;
  * Complete rewrite of most of the pure virtual machine.

Thanks to David Waern for his work on Haddock 2.0, without which I probably never would have released this version.

Feedback, comments, and suggestions are very welcome!
