The School of Computer Science at the University of St Andrews has six prize 
PhD studentships available.  These studentships are funded through the
Scottish Informatics and Computer Science Alliance and provide both fees and 
maintenance (£13,500) per annum.  They can be taken up by students of any 
nationality
(including non-EU students).

Good students who are interested in PhD study in functional programming should
