I think it would be nice if new wiki tickets (issues, bugs) were forwarded to the mailing list. This would keep us informed and reduce bug-to-developer delays.
xmonad does it with the help of code.google.com's notification system. See for example http://www.haskell.org/pipermail/xmonad/2009-November/009009.html Can we get automatic notifications with Trac?
