They dropped support for it *working reliably* with OS X.
I back up my Palm data by using McFile to back it all up to a memory
card, which I take out of the Palm, put in a card reader, and dd to a
file on my Mac. Despite McFile's dire warnings, restores of individual
databases work just fine, as have the complete restores I've needed to
do twice.
I suppose those unnecessarily scary warnings count as being Hateful in
themselves.
