As Martin said, lsof(8) and fuser(1) are your friends.
So it can know if it wanted to - don't apologize for the software when
you are supposing to be hating it!

and why do you people remember these /numbers/? And what's the deal with the
stupid man system, and maybe it's time to /fix/ it, and maybe rm can be fixed
while they're at it?
