I don't really know what it takes for this to happen, I've only seen it on one machine. In particular, it might only happen on Windows ex-pee.
Have you ever seen a Windows machine going to /text mode/ when Visual Studio
2005 builds a project? It's a spectacular scene. You get a black screen with a
white cursor you can move around with your mouse. Nice entertainment for the
build time.
