I'll bet I hate CUPS more than you do, because Apple for some absolutely bizarre idea decided to use it as their printing solution instead of doing what they usually do and inventing their own scheme that's incompatible with everything in existence but at least fucking works.
But they've somehow managed to fuck it up so that it's actually impossible to send a plain text file to a printer and let the fucking printer rasterize it. EVEN FUCKING WINDOWS LETS YOU DO THAT.
