That would be far, far more hateful thing to do.
If your email client cannot filter based on the List-Id header like
our IETF overlords intended (for at least the last not-terribly-long
period of time), I submit that your software hate is misdirected. My
email server can, and does, have a single filter that correctly files
all the email to this list.
