Usually
$ screen -ADR
...does the right thing (as in, it's never done the wrong thing
without it somehow being my fault). Even starts a new session if one
doesn't exist. There isn't any other way to invoke screen, IMO.
But I wear a cup when dealing with screen anyways. Just seems
prudent.
