I know this is hates-software, but I will second the recommendation for
rss2email. I use it for my RSS needs, and it is mostly non-hateful.
But...

A big steaming pile of hate goes to rss2email because it can't
handle feed:// URLs (even though I have sent them a patch *repeatedly*).
Also, it doesn't really handle non-full feeds, which I have hacked
around, but it would be nice if I could just indicate that a given
RSS feed is a partial feed, and let it do the heavy lifting.
