Of course, when the only tool you have is CVS, any other version control
system lookslike a good idea. I suspect CVS was the result of a drunken bet
that it wasn't possible to make RCS worse.

Git seems to be the current favourite for new and Open Source projects, so
you're going to have to learn it sooner or later even though it is software
and therefore sucks. You may as well start now, so you know just how hateful
it is when you need to use it in anger.
