Spent time looking at a WRE up on Lars' cluster. Doesn't fit my theory. Looks
like a legit overreach by the client. Should be retried.
Looked also at an ISE on local cluster running a loading. It doesn't fit
theory either. Parent had just been deleted at time of the ISE. Shouldn't
even have been in the .META at time of the ISE reporting it offline (Cluster
clocks all pretty well synced).
