Hudson builds for hbase worthless?

Hudson never builds HBase successfully. Not because of failures in  
HBase, but because it's just not set up right.

As long as we committers are reviewing every patch and running tests  
locally anyway, what's the point of running hudson on commits? Having  
hudson run on patch available would be handy, but if that's far away,  
should we just disable the builds?
