I rewrote the Hadoop EC2 Utilities for HBase. They are in this patch. I put
them in src/contrib
I also made an hbase-ami. It just works out of the box. It provides
functionality for creating slaves that run both hbase regionservers and hadoop
datanodes or creating seperate groups of slaves for hbase regionservers and
hadoop datanodes.
The bucket is called 'hbase-ami'.
I am going to make the ami public as well.
