Hey Stack! The reason I wanted to change the layout was because it would be easier on the client side when we are building the result structure, depending on the structure type you are building you might want to put row+fam+qf+ts in the same byte[] and you could do that in just one fetch, but if you see a lot of just getting the row and think that that extra getFamLength will slow things down, I think that that is more important.
