Because the Cloudera (cloudera.com) Hadoop distribution is currently based on the Hadoop 0.18.3 release, we have opened a branch to support HBase trunk on Hadoop 0.18.3 for any folks using Cloudera's distribution who might be interested in trying out HBase as a large scale structured storage option.
