I was at Steve's presentation in Amsterdam and I thought the notion of an apache cloud computing stack a powerful idea. This work up in confluence starts to make this api notion concrete. Good stuff. I took a look at what you'd posted and it seems fine for a first cut. The only comment I have is that the technologies listed on the persistence page have little in common; its almost as though there needs to be another layer inserted differentiating them all.
