Same drill as for RC2, remember Andrew told me the following: I put up AMIs already: ami-651af70c apache-hbase-images/hbase-0.20.3-i386.manifest.xml ami-6f1af706 apache-hbase-images/hbase-0.20.3-x86_64.manifest.xml ami-5f1af736 apache-hbase-images/hbase-0.20.3-0.18.3-i386.manifest.xml ami-5b1af732 apache-hbase-images/hbase-0.20.3-0.18.3-x86_64.manifest.xml .... if you want to test them out as part of RC validation. Just use the EC2 scripts produced by the build process -- run 'ant package' then look in build/hbase-0.20.3/contrib/ec2/bin. They will choose these AMIs automatically. This candidate fixes 84 issues, please have a look at the release notes here http://su.pr/16X1Cr. So is this RC ready to become 0.20.3? Vote ends January 25th, 2010 at 12PM. Thx, The HBase Team
