The description for "hbase.hstore.compactionThreshold" in hbase-default.xml says: <<< During a compaction, updates cannot be flushed to disk. >>> .
What's the reason for this restriction? I couldn't spot where this is getting enforced in the code. So wondering if the restriction is still true. regards, Kannan
