We need to port forward the patch over in hbase-2234 that was added to branch.
I've made the task a blocker against 0.21. Porting forward is a little awkward
at the moment since the patch as is depends on hdfs-200 which is not currently
in hbase TRUNK (HBase TRUNK has hadoop 0.21 as opposed to hadoop 0.20 in it).
Chatting yesterday with a few of the lads, hbase-2255 "Take trunk back to
hadoop 0.20" might make sense in the near term -- to be further discussed out
on the list -- and if so, the forward port will be straight-forward.
Thereafter, we'll have to do some work to make it so hbase-2234 works on top of
both hadoop 0.20 and hadoop 0.21 since having hbase run on both hadoop 0.20 and
0.21 is a goal (HBASE-2233).
