For thrift 0.2.0 , that is needed by hbase trunk , currently the publication
is being tested at private home directories ( See HBASE-2255 for more details).
Once the experience works fine, we need to publish thrift artifacts , under
groupId - org.apache.hbase / artifactId - thrift , to apache repository
releases.
The idea is that the final list of repositories should be devoid of any
reference to private home repositories for better maintenance.
