... by moving WritableByteArrayComparable from interface to abstract class Is that change really needed? I can work around in my code but it seems it should be an interface based on how its used in EG SingleColumnValueFilter.
I have my own hierarchy of comparators, they impl the WBAC interface, and all was well... -clint
