We require a tool and a mechanism that can be used to scan directories
representing data in HDFS, and convert to appropriate tables and partitions in
metadata. It would preferably need to be extensible and pluggable, providing a
metadata proxy interface for someone to write their own custom crawler if need
be, but also needs with a default reference implementation.
