Hi, Travis,
Agree hcat/hcat_server is only a wrapper of hive script. However, we currently
still use them as a way to start hcat server and run hcat commands. I am not
sure if we have a plan or how soon we will drop hcat scripts. I can check with
Alan/Ashutosh/Sushan about that.
