Hey [~amalakar] -
I downloaded HCatMix and while getting to know the project came across the
following. At the highest-level, the build/dependencies could use some cleanup
as I couldn't build initially and looking further it seems to use a lot of
non-standard stuff not in maven central, different test framework than
HCatalog/Pig, etc.
This looks like a useful tool, but what's the reason for wanting this in
HCatalog itself? This seems like it could be a useful addon that depends on the
snapshot jars published from CI and allows one to run these tests against their
cluster. What are your thoughts on having this live in GitHub for the time
being instead of HCatalog itself?
* Top-level pom in pig project (org.apache.pig.performace-parent)
* Importing project into IDE shows incorrect POMs.
* What is "sdsu" jar?
* Why not use junit like HCatalog and Pig do?
* What is savage7 maven plugin? Failed downloading during initial build.
* Formatting is not consistent, makes really hard to read.
* DataGenerator - use a proper command-line parser instead of manually printing
usage?
